All bubbas are designed to be leak proof. However, they are not designed to be spill and splash resistant so we suggest that bubba be kept in an upright position while you are drinking from them.

The classic style bubbas which are made of 100% BPA free colored plastic (polyurethane) and stainless steel, are made of plastic (polyurethane) on the inside. Some items, such as the HERO bottles, are made of stainless steel both inside and outside.

Most stainless steel bubbas can be used for both hot and cold beverages. For plastic and straw based products we do not recommend using with hot beverages.

Allow boiling liquid to cool down with the lid off for at least 3 minutes before attaching lid. Hot contents may result in discharge of vapor so please open to release pressure away from body.

plastic lids, bodies, straws and unpainted stainless steel bodies are top-rack dishwasher safe. please handwash painted stainless steel bodies as well as the bubba Classic line which is a combination of plastic and stainless steel.

since bubbas have metal components, they should not be used in the microwave.
